Nate and Jamie are matched!

We are Nate and Jaime! We are grateful that you have taken the time to look at our profile. We met in the fall of 2010 while playing adult kickball. We started officially dating in January 2011, and moved in together in July 2013. We are thrilled at the possibility of adding to our family through adoption.

A Little Bit About Nate

Nate enjoys golfing, and goes to Arizona every year  with  his best friends to play golf and hang out. Nate is a middle child, having an older sister and a younger brother. Nate’s sister, Stephanie, is adopted, and her daughter Cassidy is adopted, so they are very supportive of the adoption process. Nate has a bachelor’s degree in communications and works as a writer for the PA House of Representatives.

Nate Loves…

Florida State University football, Philadelphia Eagles football, Phillies baseball, Knoebels Grove Amusement Park (especially the haunted house), eating cheesesteaks, listening to music, reading, watching movies, The Simpsons, and spending time with family!

A Little Bit About Jamie

Jaime is an only child who was raised by her grandparents. Jaime is very close to her grandmother and cousins. Jaime has a master’s degree in psychology and works as a social worker and an adjunct professor.

Jamie Loves…

Jaime likes to kayak, go tubing, take the 3 dogs for a hike, eating vegetarian food, watching funny movies, painting, bowling, skee ball,  and spending time with her many cousins. Jaime has an 11-year-old cousin that has selective mutism, and we spend a lot of time with her.

Us

We live in Harrisburg, PA, which is a very diverse city with lots of activities. We like to visit City Island, which is located in the middle of Susquehanna River. That is where the Harrisburg Senators play baseball, a favorite pastime of ours. We like to take our family and ride the train around City Island, and play miniature golf while we are there as well. Last summer we even took a ride on the Riverboat!

Our Hope

We believe that education is one of the most important things in a child’s life. We hope to provide your child with many enriching activities throughout their life, such as: visiting museums, aquariums, traveling to other countries, going to Lake Tobias Wildlife Park to pet the animals, and navigating corn mazes.

We Love…

We love holiday activities such as HersheyPark in the Dark, hayrides, pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, decorating the house for Christmas, and playing in the snow. We love brunch (especially the breakfast part) and going out for ice cream!

Thank you!
